I went to Marine boot camp many decades ago, but I doubt it has changed much since then. You will find in general running and endurance will be much more emphasized than strength. I would suggest you do as much running as you can before you get there as well as keeping up your strength training. Remember the later fitness tests will be 3 mile runs, and you will do a lot of marching with a heavy pack on your back and rifle in your hands. as well as being sleep deprived a lot of the time. I would recommend running at least 3 days a week, 1 day 3 miles, 1 day wind sprints (HIIT), 1 day a longer run (work up to at least 6 miles). Good luck and Sempre Fi. Boot camp sucks, but it onlty lasts a few weeks and after it is over you will never regret you did it.
