The only way you can build muscle is to subject your muscles to an increased amount of ( progressive ) overload.
Hard as it is to believe, some ' newbs ' out there actually think you can build muscle by simply consuming massive amounts of protein alone.
Scarfing down boatloads and boatloads of protien ' alone ' doesn't build muscle - proper training does.
