(well, I can help with advice, not with supplying you one - I'm in the UK).
You can actually get a good exercise bike for a lot less that the equivalent quality treadmills or elliptical. I've got a Life Fitness one (
LifeFitness C9i Exercise Bike from Totally Fitness: gym quality LifeFitness C9i Exercise Bike) which is excellent - sturdy, comfortable, easy to use... but it's quite expensive.
