Also, how often should I jog? And will jogging shape my whole body or just my lower body?

this morning I weighed 102 (sounds skinny but it's not because I'm only 5'3)

I really want to know if jogging will work quickly

to help me lose 7 pounds in 9 days.

If anyone wants to offer me some advice that would be awesome!
To lose fat you have to lose calories.

And ( in theory at least ) to lose 1 pound of fat you have to lose 3,500 calories. If you want to lose 7 pounds, in theory, you have to lose a total of 24,500 calories ( 7 x 3,500 ) .

Jogging burns calories. I'm only guessing mind you, but let's say for argument's sake that at your weight you might burn 400 calories by jogging for 1 hour a day.

So, if you simply ' jogged ' 1 hour a day, 7 days a week, in theory ( all other things being equal ) it would take you 61 days to lose 7 lbs ( 24,500 / 400 = 61 ) Conversely, in theory again, if you want to lose 7 lbs in 9 days, you'd have to lose about 2,700 calories a day ( 24,500 / 9 = 2,722 ). In theory, that would mean you'd have to jog for about 6.5+ hours a day ( all other things being equal ) to lose lose 7 pounds in 9 days.

The examples I gave you a very generalized and theoretical, but the point is, if you're only going to use jogging as a means of losing fat, it might be more reasonable to expect to lose 1 +/- lbs. a week that way as opposed to 7 pounds in 9 days.
