Yeah, careful with insurance. Did you get your license through a certified driving "school"? Because, well, down here, that means you're insured as someone who's been driving for 3 years. Well worth the $600 or so and the 3 days of class it requires.

Also, if no one's mentioned it, it's generally a good idea to get on your parents' insurance, as that'll decrease the expense considerably. If they're willing to risk it.

And don't worry about feeling nervous at first. That's perfectly normal (see: extremely common). You'll get over it after a couple months. Then the feeling of sweet, sweet freedom will kick in. That and the hating of OPEC. Haha.
