It is not uncommon to have delayed onset muscle soreness (doms) after working a muscle group for the first time or for the first time in a while, but you shouldn't be sore every time you work out. That would be of concern. My first thought would be to back off to twice weekly or even once weekly and see if that takes care of the problem. If it doesn't I would see an orthopedist.
