NO WAY HOSAY!!!

Flats are for sprints and up to a 440, maybe a 1 miler. After that the the benefit in weight is lost at the risk of injury.

ESPECIALLY if you are a heel to toe runner.

Simple answer- BAD IDEA.

p.s.
when you are running with them, since I just noticed you got them,, please pay close attention to your "ground pound." and the hip extends just a tad further too. These shoes are for high schoolers, and collegiates, and peeps who have continued running since then- they really are.
