Yes, but we're talking over long sessions...at least 45+ plus to make much of a dent in our energy expenditure. I'm referring to the point where we're actually in a complete oxidative system use.

I suppose the end result is just a personal perference; I'm only saying that fasted state cardio is not nearly beneficial as it's made out to be.
