Becoming All That You Ever Wanted To Be! (Part 2)

Becoming All That You Ever Wanted To Be! (Part 2)

By saying aloud you are a Champion, that you are fit and in shape, that I am on my way to losing this weight, you are doing more then just believing and being positive! You are visualizing what you are about to become! Visualizing is another important key to success! Seeing yourself where it is you want to be. Slim, toned, being able to wear the close you have been dreaming of wearing. Having toned muscles and feeling good about yourself and the efforts you put into it! All of this visualization is important. I have mentioned being balanced Spiritually, Mentally,Physically, and Financially With visualization, you are working on part of that mental aspect of being well balance! Again, you are programming yourself for success! What you think and what you see yourself being is more important then you may think! Again, the Spiritually, Mentally,Physically, and Financially all interlock together. Without being balanced in all these areas will affect each other. Without any one of these four aspects, you will be off balance! So working on your overall well being is a job in itself! However all four are important to having an overall well being in life!

Now that you decided to have a life and not just be living one, write down a plan of action that you can read every day. That you can tweak and make the appropriate changes when needed. Your now on your way to being all that you ever wanted to be!

Now, as you start your new day on this journey to being all that you ever wanted to be, you visualize this day in your mind! How it will play out for you. Whether you are going to train at home or in the gym, start visualizing your work-out! The beginning of stretching. See yourself stretching in your mind. Go though the whole stretching program in your mind. Concentrating on your form, technique and range of motion throughout your stretching. Go through your workout program in your mind as well. Visualize getting under the bar, setting yourself up, taking in the deep breath of air, squeezing the bar, squeezing every muscle in your body, keeping solid, visualize each technique used to go through the range of motion that will able you good form to complete that lift and cycle!

Doing this will be planting seeds in your mind. Helping you to reprogram your mind from the old to the new! Making this second nature to you! In between sets, and during your sets focus on the technique of the form step by step! How you are to complete the exercise with strict form! If you can't keep the form, drop some weight! NEVER compromise form and technique to move weight! NEVER!!!!! You won't change what you have done in the gym come time for competition! Meaning, what you do in the gym is what you will do at the meet! I know for fact, that the strongest and most powerful person does not always win the meet! I personally have won two meets knowing I wasn't he strongest lifter! However, keeping a positive mind, while using strict technique, I won the meet! Because the other lifter had poor form I became State Champion! I knew how he trained in the gym, just by watching him lift. He had lots of power. However he had poor form in the squat and deadlift! Being the person that I am, I even tried to help him with his form. However, His lower back was not trained to sit up in the squat and deadlift! Causing him to lean forward putting a strain on the lower back! Keeping him from being able to complete the lift! Live and let learn! Remember, you are only as strong as your weakest link!

It's important to train each muscle group throughout the body if you are well enough to so! Strengthen the musicals that aide each primary lift! (squat, bench, and deadlift) It's important to train the musicals that aide that lift separately. Rotator calf, hip flexors, and so on. If not, while performing a lift for max effort you can tear or blow that musical!

Again, I hope that this may help some of you. From what I am reading there are a lot of wise people in this form. I know I am giving a lot of basic information. However I know we can get caught up into things and forget about the basics things that got us to where we may be know. Put some things aside and stopped thinking about them. By going back to the basics we can gain more in our workout programs!

I will be breaking down the importance of the four aspects of being well balance Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, and Financially and how they interlock! As to not cause havoc, I will be posting the Spiritual well being in the post I seen here about (God)! This way for those who want to learn more on that can. As for the ones who have not the interest of the Spiritual well being in this balance of their life, won't have to read it! I just want to help those who want it!

When all is said and done, you will see how this all interlocks in Health, Fitness, and Overall well being! Thank you for letting me share. Work on living your life to it's fullness today, because tomorrow may not come! Have questions, emails me!

God Bless,

Franklin McQuaid
