Acrocat Software, the producers of the popular fitness software program "PDAbs," basically walked away from their many users sometime last year, leaving them high and dry, with no support for the product any more.
Wikipedia lists the company Handmark, "a developer and distributor of mobile content," as licensing and distributing Acrocat Software. While there is nothing on the Handmark Web site (Handmark | Software for your Palm, Blackberry, Pocket PC, Treo, PDA and Windows Mobile Smartphone Devices) that mentions Acrocat or PDAbs, perhaps they should be queried further about their association with the phantom company. Certainly, the many users of PDAbs deserve to know the ultimate fate of that product.
