i have long hair and do a good amount of cardio per day and sweat a lot. i have long hair andtoday after my run i noticed that it began to smell in my hair and almost stay with me. anyone ever experience this or know anything about it?

This may be a dumb question, but you did take a shower post workout, right?

If so, what kind of smell are you talking about? If it seems unnatural, you may want to have a doc check it out. Possibly something you've added to your diet recently? Don't really know.

Sweat does not stink naturally. After it comes in contact with the air and is infested with bacteria it begins to have an odor. Take a post workout shower and check your hair bands for Oder. Make sure to wash them regularly.

I think I can feel what the initial person said, this is not an issue that gets solved with regular cleansing of hair as I have seen other people too who take good care of their hair to deal with the said problem. Some people even take the support of online pills but these are not anything that can help. Maybe the best thing to do in such cases is to trim the hair and see if the problem ceases.
