Better body (generally)

Hi there, just joined this site and for one reason really: I would really like some help with getting a better figure. I have a very, very important gig coming up in 6 weeks with my funk/rock band where I would really like to be able to take my top off and feel comfortable with myself.

I am by no means FAT! however I definately have some extra flabbiness, I need to lose a bit around my belly, my sides. and i would like to improve my abs and my pecs especially, also general upper body and just general toning.

it may be unrealistic as I am not going to be going to the gym but I think it is good to have a target. i think i possibly could be pursuaded to buy some weights if really necessary tho.

I am looking for advice on excercise and diet. I play sport (not to any high level) twice a week.

Thanks,
Alex

Basically. Diet, you need to cut it down under you maintenance calorie intake. This will help you lose weight. Maybe go running a couple of times a week. Pushups will help your chest, pull ups, dips, situps will get you toned. But realistically you need a gym. You could buy some dumbells to tone up your arms and back a bit more. There are hundreds of exercises you can do with them.

Ok thanks. do you think it is a realistic feat to do in 6 weeks? If I do go to the gym, which I guess is in fact possible, what would you suggest I do?

Thanks,
Alex
