    getting "wider" arms?

how can i make my arm upper arms and biceps wider? I've been working out and they get taller (if that makes any sense) but not wider. Here is a picture i drew in paint to describe it, excuse the lack of skill :P

I hear that using adobe photoshop is a better arm widening exercise than ms paint, but I can't personally comment as I've no experience.

I love that picture. It's funny and it took me a while to figure it out. I thought it was multiple choice or something about popeye's arms.

Anyway, what I think is happening is that you're over working your muscles by doing curls and crunches all day, or you're not allowing rest for muscle build, or you're just not giving yourself enough time.

It has nothing to do with doing too many curls. It has everything to do with his diet and him not gaining weight. When the rest of your body grows, your arms will get larger as well.

It is said that for every 15lbs of pure mass, you gain an inch on your arms( 25lbs if your more advanced ). How much of that inch comes from fat or muscle depends on your diet and lifting routine.

So now you know the answer, go eat.
