Hamstring flexibility == nill. How long to fix?
Hi,
So basically I spent years in front of a computer - at 30 I have basically 0 flexibility. I started stretching 5 days a week which helped, but still can't kick my leg higher than mid-thigh while standing up. So since it's been 4 months stretching with so little results something is wrong here, and I'm looking for some advice.
I'm doing static stretching of the hamstrings for 1.15minute each leg, then dynamic stretching 1.15 minute each leg. Static stretching is done by placing a leg on a desk and trying to bend over at the waist, while dynamic stretching is done through leg raises.

If you have been stretching the right way and thats what you get, then thats what you get... the older you get the less flexible you become, and some people are just more flexible than others because of how their muscle fibers are made.
