| | | Missed 2 days of creatine- reload? I have gone without creatine for the past two days. Do I need to reload, or can I just take it as normally? Also, do you take it on days when you don't work out? I thought so, but wanted to be sure. |

| | | Thanks. I'll continue with my maintenance dosage then.
If I take it on non-WO days, when is the best time to take it, and seeing as I'm not working out, do I still take it with simple sugars? I don't want any extra fat storage. Thanks! |

| | | Dont worry When i miss creatine on day, i jus take usual dosage the next day.
The loading phaze is a pain but when you get to the dosage of 1-a-day for 11 weeks, it comes naturally to take it.
I have a reminder on my phone tellin me to take it jus incase..
^.^ every little helps |

| | | creatine builds up in your system, to a saturation point.
thus you can load up quickly, or you can load up slowly...the end result is the same.
on average, daily 3g-5g dosing will make you hit saturation in 3 weeks.
I'd say it only takes about half as long to get almost back to baseline if you stop, mainly because your body constantly uses creatine, so if you stop dosing, you lose it faster. while 'loading' you're not only replacing the normal creatine you've lost, but increasing total stores...only makes sense it'd take longer.
I also base this on the fact that I do tend to store extra water weight when i'm on monohydrate, and the last time I cycled off, I lost 7lbs in a week...I'm pretty darn confident that 5lb of that was water. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | | | » Online Users: 241 | | 7 members and 234 guests | | Gus, Karky, Lettuce, M.J.
