Workout question, need help from experts :P
Hey guys,
Gonna finish this post after this game on gears of war 2.
Finished :L
Here goes.
Well, im 16, and im pretty skinny really, i think my body type is an ecto morph (this is the skinny but tall body type). Im relatively tall for my age, 5"10/5"11 and i weight 131lbs.
Ive been TRYING to workout for about a year now, and other than the obivous improvements which are going to happen evem if you life a 2 kg weight twice a day. i dont really think my muscle mass has improved a huge deal! im always looking on the internet for decent workout plans etc, but i figured, its best to ask the people that really know what there talking about
Right so down to business:
I go the the gym every monday and friday, and normally my workout takes about an hour. but i dont perticually want to talk about the program i do.
Every time i work out, i take 50G of multipower protein drink that i buy form my gym. by no means is it a top make, but hey its protein
So basicly, i was wondering, if somebody could put me together a workout, that will take how ever long it take, and involves hitting the gym twice a week i can only do twice a week i am busy every other day, i am looking ot buil lean mucle, and get from 130 > about 145 pounds, that would be perfect for me
i know this is a big question but im so in need of help, and i will really appriciate a decent honest answer from somebody who takes the time to set me out a work out
Thanks in advance, Sam milton

I'm no expert, and I wouldn't trust me to plan a workout program for you, but I do know that a lot of people would say that two days is, while better than nothing, not really enough. I'd probably start looking into either an upper/lower program or a push/pull program. And if you're an ecto (you are considering your height and weight...unless you've been striving for this weight...which I doubt), then you're going to need to start eating like crazy. You can figure out the hypothetical caloric intake for someone your age, height, and weight BMR Calculator, then you can multiply however is needed here Harris Benedict Equation. Eat 2-% more than that per day, and if you don't begin to gain weight (about a pound or two a week) after the first two weeks, up the calories by another 20%. This is how you figire out how many calories your body burns; to gain weight, eat more.

Well, i have to to do stuff every other night of the week other than friday and monay, which is when i go thte gym.
Do you think that maybe i should:
On a monday do Push And Pull in one session.
Friday do my push session
And saturday morning do a pull session?
Is this a way that i could organise it well, as i like the idea of push and pull.
Also i have just purchased some maximuscle progain, which should help
Thanks

Being new to this, maybe try something proven. Google "Westside for Skinny Bastards" and give that a go...I see it reccommended all the time on here.

Heres a link to West Side 4 Skinny Bastards Hardgainer Routine. Its 3 days per week, but if you can only do 2 days (which im not sure is going to be enough) i guess you could somehow work it out.
