Right i've got a question to ask about my abs which might sound stupid... Basically my stomach seems to have a pod on it but its not fat it seems to be muscle, its rock solid and feels like muscle... Also my bodyfat is still coming down (its around 11% atm was 23% in January)and I used to hold most of my fat on my stomach so i'm thinking it cant be fat... The thing I was wondering is can you work your stomach muscles so that they get larger like other muscles as I was under the impression that it was ok to work your abs any time... I'm gonna measure round where the pod seems to be and see if it is growing over the next few weeks/months but was curious anyway...
Yes if you workout your abs with weight they will get larger. And this 'pod' you speak of is most likely fat, even at 11% body fat people still hold a good amount of flub in the midsection. If you post a picture we can tell you for sure.
