Well, being a blonde, I can say I think blondes are great I also think every other hair colour is great too
As I get older, my hair is going darker, but I sing in a band, I like the blonde hair, so until I leave the band, I'll stay blond, then I might considering letting my hair catch up with it's natural colour... saying that, I have coloured it brown before and I personally felt drab and went back to blonde pronto.
Power to the Blondes, nothing wrong with being blonde and trust me when I say not all of us are stupid :P
i think i might have posed the question wrong. i'm not asking what hair color you prefer or if hair color is a factor in deciding whether you are attracted to someone. however, if you are gonna say that you are attracted to brunettes, then i'd like to know why??? otherwise, it doesn't mean anything.
anyway, i'm wondering if anyone subconsciously thinks that blonds are more attractive or could be more attractive? for example, if you see two good looking women in the room, do you notice the blond first?
why do you think so many women dye their hair blond?
why do we have "dumb blond jokes" and on the other hand, we say "blond bombshell" and not "brunette bombshell."
is it possible that you all are not affected by society in this way? of course it is but why? how? what do you think about these things?
I'll answer, well what I think the reasoning is
1 - Most ppl would maybe notice the blonde first, just because his/her hair is the is the brighter colour.. saying that, I would notice someone with bright pink hair before a blonde
2 - Dying hair... hmmmm I know for me, I feel more vibrant with blonde hair, BUT saying that I've always been a natural blonde and I'm use to it...
3 - The jokes? I don't know, I think I've heard just about every blonde joke known, I don't get offended, I like them to think I'm stupid, works in my advantage
Overall, I don't know if blondes are immediately thought as more attractive, I just think maybe they catch your eye first when walking into a room??
Studies have been done that Blonde Business Woman actually get higher stature than any other hair color does for woman, just because of the stigma that "blondes" get.
I don't think it truly matters, it's just subjective. Self-Confidence is the most attractive allure out there for me.

I agree with most everything you say. I am blonde as well and I love it! I've had long blonde hair for many years. I feel like I can look at another women who has long dark hair and olive skin and be like wow! I am not jealous of any other woman, I've learned to love myself and make myself be beautiful and sexy! Like someone said, confidence is key! I've heard all the blonde jokes as well, and they don't phase me. I've had my "moments", but day to day I feel I am a pretty successful business woman.
1. Nope. I've dated girls with every color of hair, though more have been light brown to dark brunette. Pretty sure only one of my girlfriends was blond. Dirty blond (and a dirty, dirty girl...)
2. Not really. Maybe regionally (like, every movie that is shot in California/Florida beach areas seems to have way more blonds in the background).
So, it might be a regional thing, related to how those people view beauty.
I'm in the midwest so we put emphasis on work ethics, not hair color.
I prefer blonds. I have had 2 serious relationships and both were blond. The question ages ago abou 2 identical girls, one blond one brunette. I would go for the blond every day! I think they just stand out to me, I do appreciate brunettes and redheads etc, and many I prefer to blonds, but the initial attraction is always the blond one. That said, 3 of my favourite celebrities are all brunette. These being Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole and Kate Beckinsale.
i like brunettes that are bleached blonde, have one arm fullky tatood, the other damaged from working a carnival ride, and preferably missin, or at least a large chip in, one tooth.

i think that the hair colour has to suit your colouring, a fair skinned blonde woman (naaturally blonde, ) with blue eyess looks striking, but so does an olive skinned brunette with brown eyes...
ive been both blonde and brunette, but feel more attractive being a brunette as it suits my colouring better!
I also think every other hair colour is great too
