Recommended yoga DVDS?

I've recently gotten into yoga and am interested in some good beginner yoga dvds. I must stress that I am a beginner! I'm going to look on ebay for the recommended dvds. Thanks!

I'd suggest AM/PM Yoga with Rodney Yee - the AM part is a 15 minute stretch, the PM part is a 20 minute workout.

yoga dvd's

Patricia Walden: Yoga for beginners (GAIAM)
good for beginners (60 minutes) plus two additional workouts (backbends and forward bends to take you to the next level)
old fashioned look but good stuff

Suzanne Deason: Yoga conditioning for weight loss (forget about the weight loss part) (GAIAM)
Good stuff with four varieties of every posture (you can choose according to your level you're on )

Ciao

Have fun

If you can find a class, try to take a few so you can have the instructor watch your form and correct any problems. Then you can approach the DVDs with a better understanding of and ability to do what they contain.

am/pm is good but ifyoure a serious yogi, its not very long...classes especially are great, like bikrham and i like vinyasa (hot room). classes are typically 90 minutes. though i have done 30 and 60 minute sessions.

i would be curious if anyone knows of any 30 minute or longer yoga videos for advanced that you can do at home...

thanks!

I like Karen Voight and Kari Anderson DVDs; they have yoga/pilates amongst them.

My yoga instructor would agree with you. She buys a lot of Gaiam and Yee products.
