Bodyweight training is training without weights. While weight training uses weights.
And it seems odd to post that this part of the forum isn't needed, while posting in it.

I just think they should both be left in Weight training. I reckon it will remain a stagnant thread because the weight training one has a heep of posts so everyone will just go there.

he expressed his opinion after he was told what it was.
And I have to say I kinda agree.. there isn't a lot of activity on this forum to start with, so why split it up further into more subforums?

Now this section is here, how about getting some stickies up?
I think I might just be able to squeeze some of this stuff into my weekends but have no idea what to do and how to do it.
I'm a total novice so need some kind of idea on how to get started, I imagine if some decent stickies get people started on this then more threads will be created to ask questions.
I don't want to try and get ideas from those YouTube BW videos featuring men flashing their abZ and Bi's showing people how to get 'ripped' and get great abZ to impress teenage girls - I'm too old for that ***** now. I want to know about stuff that'll help me squat heavier and lift big things over my head
I also saw an exercise which looked good on another article on T-Nation that I can't locate at the moment; basically you kneel on the floor, get your feet secured under something very secure and lower yourself to the ground using your hamstrings and if possible lift yourself back up again. I definately need to try that out

Glute Ham Raise CCR.
I was just messing Smith. Karky without this section we are missing out on potential searches for bodyweight training. Then if people come here they may get the impression that we are all about weights, which has happened.
We dont have any body builders here but we have (a now empty) section on it. I think it was said that that section brings iin the most traffic. Lets just see how this plays about, remember change is good.

We still need stickies though otherwise people won't hang around
I think we also need some BW 'champions' to lead the way and start making informative posts in here. The heavy posters I see on here tend to be 200lb+ with hobbies that include eating and sleeping
I do know a super hot gymnast girl who was once in the British gymnast team, maybe she knows some stuff about BW training. I'll ask and see if she fancies posting stuff
