help with fitness machines

hey everyone.
i'm new at the forums. i want to get my self into shape. i want to be able to run and sprint and make hard cuts and be able to keep running for long periods of time without getting tired, and not just running at a constant pace, from jogging to running to sprinting and in between. i play ultimate frisbee and it is key to be able to do this. i also want to do some weight training to strengthen my core. anyway, my apartment office has a fitness center and i was going to use that to get into shape. all of the machines are REALLY old, from like the early 90s. some of them are broken. some have dead batteries in their screens. but most of them work ok. i was wondering if i could get some help on how to use the machines. i wrote down their names:
  • pilates performer
  • nordictrack w/ performance track (with wood boards/slides which looks like what your feet go on)
  • weslo pursuit 675s
  • torso track 2
  • bmi stair stepper 4500
  • csa mountain challenge
  • sportrider by healthrider
  • lifestyler cardiofit plus

that's the list of the machines. keep in mind these are old machines. when i tried doing a google search it of course only has results for the newer versions. i couldn't find how to use these machines and dont have the time, so i'd rather come here and ask an expert.

thanks!
