Starting a Workout Routine?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and lately I've been thinking about starting to work out so I stumbled across this forum and thought it might be a great place to start! I want to form a daily workout routine that I can do on the weekdays, and I was hoping you guys/gals will me able to help me with that. First off, I'm a Male, 18 years old, and currently weigh about 126 lbs, and my height is 5'7". I know puny, right.

So I just recently got a home gym, it has a chest press (two bars on both sides and push them forward), lateral pull down (bar above and just pull it down), butterfly bress, bicep curl, and leg extension (sit down and push two cushioned bars up with your leg, they are positioned at the curve between the foot and the leg), among other things. I am totally lost and honestly dont know where to start. I play basketball around 1-3 hours a day, sometimes even 4 hours spread throughout the day, but basically about 2 on average (as a sidenote, I only started this about 2 weeks ago, was only about half hour a day when I had school; im on summer vacation now). That's the most exercise I've been getting lately, and I think it's been keeping me well from gaining weight, apart from my fast metabolism. I also gained about 15 pounds this school year, so I think it might be slowing down or I might just be eating more. My diet consists of regular Indian food (curry, chicken, potato, beef, etc) and snacking on a regular basis. I also drink plenty of water throughout the day, so no worries on that.

My goals are to lose the fat I have (some love handles around the waist), and hopefully just gain in muscle. I really want to work out my arms and chest, and have been looking towards maybe an overall body workout at best instead of a split. Or would split be better? I just want to get more into shape so I can feel comfortable with the body I have. I also don't want to lose too much weight, I'm already skinny as it is. Ideal would be around 130-140 lbs if that's not too little.

For the workout routine I was thinking daily in the mornings. I really don't want to push myself too far with the lifting because I'm afraid I might drop more pounds. I was hoping you guys can help me create a workout routine which I will be able to perform on daily basis and see results. I'm all for pushups and pullups, weightless workouts if that gets me where I want. I really hope I can get some good advice out of this, PLEASE tell me if you need any more info! Here's a pic of the home gym I have to get a better idea what type of weightlifting I will be open to (going to a local gym is not an option for me right now):

I've seen some great results in the forum, please help me out! THANKS!
