I'm a college student so I don't have much money and the price on this is good. I actually saw someone on this forum mention this brand a few months ago and that's how I found out about this product. If not this, do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!

I've added whey protein to my lifting routine now for four months. I feel it's been helping me. Well, that and also that the track and field season has been going since September so I'm lifting often and heavy. My main goal for lifting is retaining and gaining strength to help with my throws event. I'm a discus thrower on a college team.

I also have some creatine but haven't used it yet. I didn't want to use it before I trimmed down. I've worked extra cardio the past three or four months into my routine and have gotten rid of excess body fat. I know this isn't really a scientific method, but I know I'm losing weight because I had to by smaller jeans, lol. And because I physically look thinner. I'm not compromising muscle as my lifting maxes continue to go up.

Now that I've gotten rid of some extra weight do you think I could start with the creatine? I'm fine about my muscles taking in more water and getting bigger. Especially now that I'm better toned. It's just I didn't want them to do this underneath the fat. I like being one of the smaller and lighter throwers on the team and it makes my day when people ask what events I run! They wouldn't ask our shot putters that question. I feel the timing's good right now: over Christmas break (mid December) I usually back off on the throwing and focus on heavier lifting. I've read the creatine sticky so I'm thinking this would be a good time to help with muscle endurance.
Does this sound like a good plan or do you have any advice? Thanks!

Seeing as how your wanting to keep your levels always in the black, I was wondering if anybody could explain to me if just drinking Casein say like 4 times a day would benefit in constantly keeping your levels positive, rather than just fighting to keep it positive by getting fast absorption right before or after.

I know diet will keep the levels up as well, but I'm talking strictly protein shake-wise here.

Hi all I am fairly new back into fitness but am desperately trying to lose weight and tone up. i keep reading about protein supplements and my hubby takes these regularly when he works out. Do i need them. I work out 5-6 days a week, I get to the gym 2-3 times a week, whilst their i do 45 minutes cardio, consisting of the bike, cross trainer and hill walking on the treadmill, I also do 2 lots of leg exercises with weights and 2 lots of arms and also about 200 sit ups. The other days I do a mixture of 45 mins to 1 hour free weights or a 35 minute cardio fitness DVD. i am also going to be adding in some cycling or ??running. I eat fairly healthily at least 8 portions of fruit and veg, nuts and seeds, quinoa, leen meat etc but i do pinch the kids sweeties occasionally and like a glass or 2 of wine at the weekend. I havn,t lost any weight for about 5 weeks now although people are telling me I have so i must be dropping inches. How else can I speed up the weight loss.
I am also dairy, gluten and egg intolerant so any supplement would neeed to take this into consideration. I currently only take L -glutamine. Thnaks Joy
