Adjustable Dumbells - Some better than others?

I have seen some great reviews of the Powerblocksand Bowflex, but I have also seen that Hoist and some other companies make similar adjustable dumbells (both round asnd square) for much less [And are there one or two "b"'s in dumbell?].

I'm not adverse to paying for value, but if there isn't much difference in quality I am also not adveerse to saving some bank, too.

Does anyone have any experience with adjustable dumbells that are not powerblocks?
