any advice on Recumbent Exercise Bikes?

I am thinking about buying a recumbent exercise bike to use especially during the winter months to try to maintain a level of fitness and cardiovascular health. i have started to look at bikes in the $300-400 range.
Can anyone offer any advice or insight?

mine is a precor and i got it about a doze years ago.i think it was around $200 then........we adore it!
