my husband and i are shopping for a home gym. we went in ready to buy the Hoist V, but did not care for the feel of it.

any opinions on the AXT-3 or Inspire? i can't find any reviews on them on the typical sights (consumer reports etc.)

advice? thoughts?

Barbara, If you are located in or near a large city, take a day to look around at fitness stores, play on the machines a bit and go from there. I almost spent 7-800 dollars on a machine from sears until I went to a fitness equipment store in Tulsa and found my bodysolid machine. I spent a tad bit more but the smoothness was unbelievable. I tried all sorts of different attachments and pretty much did a whole body workout there in the store to make sure that was the machine I wanted. After trying both machines I know I wouldn't have been happy with whatever model it was that sears had. Good luck in your quest and let us know what you come up with. Greg
