hi, I have been driving myself crazy with trying to find the best price on a precor elliptical. can anybody suggest a store or website, or from someone located in northern PA? I want the one with the adjustable ramp. thank you very much

I recommend going to a nearby INDEPENDENT nutrition store and asking the owner if they'd be willing to put in an order for you at wholesale cost. Nutrition stores generally don't sell equipment, but have access to them through their manufacturers. Perhaps if you ask nicely enough, they'll be willing to help you out in that regard (since they're not losing business from it, really).

I search the internet for elliptical trainers a number of times and i see Tony Little Gazelle Edge and a few others. Are these machines actually elliptical trainers?

I have a Precor elliptical and it's the best investment I have ever made for fitness. I have the Precor EFX 5.23, which is the top of line machine with the ramp. I got mine at Fitness Depot and they were very reasonable with the price and even threw in lots of extras. I don't know if you have a Fitness Depot there, but you could just phone around and see if any of the places in your city carry the Precor product line. true, a gym could, and there are some fitness equipment stores, I did not buy new, so i of course dont get the 10 year warranty that comes with a new unit. I am confident that the warranty i received will work for me, and the price? so sweet
