Should I buy NordicTrack PT3?

I'm a 56 year old man, average weight, never exercised reqularly before. I'm looking to buy a home gym to tone my muscles and to prevent bone loss. I saw the NordicTrack PT3 machine on sale this week for $1000 CD(after $400 off). Do you have any advice? Is this the right machine for me? The link to this home gym is:
Costco - $400 Price Reduction NordicTrack PT3 Electronic Home Gym

Thanks.

I'm 51. I was a Free Motion Warranty rep when I was working.
Free motion machines are very nice. This Machine was taken from their technology.

When I saw this machine at academy, I thought that would be nice for me to have. The arms swing out so you need some room.

What has kept you from regular exercise, and do you think this is the one that
will hold your interest long enough for you to benefit for what it can do.
If it is and you can, this this would be a good machine.

Toning and strengthening but not power lifting or cardio.

But then that's my opinion

Good Luck
Mark
