total gym?

ok so years ago my parents bought a total gym, and sometimes i think its kinda retarded, but is it a decent place to start? (i have ZERO access to a gym of any kind)

It's a whole lot better than nothing, and there are various exercises you can do it on it that you couldn't do as a bodyweight exercise.
