If the question is to me then, its because ive been a little high in dayily protein lately and i need to cut it down a little, so im looking for some meals with hardly no protein. Also i need to need more cals for my daily diet.

haha hows this meal sound. 1 slice of light wheat bread, 1 tbsp of mayo, 2 tbsp of nat PB, and 1 tbsp of chocoulate syrup.

sounds pretty gross to me.

PB = protein

also, what percentage of your diet has been protein?

yeah, something I learned here is not to gauge protein by % of total calories because the body only needs about as many grams =lbs of body weight (If you weigh 190, eat 190 grams of protein). Most research says even this is overkill, but it's not a bad rule of thumb. If you have a high caloric intake, 40% can be over double that thereby forcing your body to burn protein as energy as opposed to it's preferred fuel, carbohydrates

are you trying to bulk or get cut? if you're trying to lean out, it makes perfect sense to up the protein to replace the carbs that you're removing to facilitate the cutting phase.

that said...why design a meal with no protein?? why not just lower protein in a few other meals? ideally you should be getting an even protein intake all day long anyhow, not protein 'loading' at certain meals.

If you weigh 180lbs, figure 180g of protein a day, which is obviously a mere 30g of protein at each of your 6 meals a day. that's basically a protein shake, 4oz of lean meat, etc.

That's what I had to learn. A serving of meat to me used to be a 12-16 oz steak, now it's 4-6 ounces
