tastiest fish?

Marlin,
strangely meaty textured fish, hhhmmm, tried it today for the first time, grilled of course....quite chewy.
Swordfish,
kind of tasteless not as chewy as marlin, nicer I think...
Salmon,
My favourite, non smoked, oven cooked, yum yum...
Tuna,
We all love tuna huh.
trout,
tastes to me just like salmon only more delicately flavoured...nice.
Red snapper,
Nice, loads of annoying bones to sieve out though,
Unusual texture and subtle taste, I liked it a lot, again, strange texture, nice...
Pilchards,
enjoyed tinned in tom' sauce, nice...
Sardines,
same as pilchards, nice...

Anyone know of any other not mentioned tasty fish I havent yet tasted?...

I agree that salmon is the best. It's also extremely rich in fish oils, and has a strong natural taste (I prefer it to tuna, when I can get it).

I eat sushi all the time, great stuff.

Not sure the nutritional info on eel but it tastes pretty darn good. From what I've heard though fish are basically incapable of storing bad fat.

I think trout is a better tasting fish than salmon, but both are good.

I'm a big fan of Spanish mackerel too. Downside is, I only enjoy them fried. :P

Shark is fantastic...very meaty and dense...doesn't really flake like normal fish would.

wow, catfish & shark, yum yum, i havent yet tried those...
rainbow trout definately tastes just like salmon just more subtlely flavoured, both delicous.
has anyone tried marlin or red snapper?, strange texture to the meat...

Fresh tuna steak with broccolli is very tasty...

although when I buy tinned tuna I always buy it in olive oil (i do drain it though), mixed with baked beans makes a good carbs and protein meal (i add a plum tomato), hhhhhhmmm tasty...

I work at a Japanese reastraunt so I get tons of sushi and salmon, my lunch is either chicken or salmon most of the time except on cheat days , salmon is treated with vinigar and salt so im sure some of the nutrional value is lost and black cod is a very good white fish .
