Whey and oats mix

I was wondering how do you mix whey protein and oats?
I've tried adding uncooked oats to my protein shake and blend it together, however the oats tend to stick to the cup and It's hard to drink them, I have to use a spoon to eat what's left of the oats.
I want to be able to drink the whole think, can you achieve that and how?
Maybe grinding the oats, until they become powdered, and adding them to the shake, or maybe try with mixing cooked oatmeal with the whey protein?

Yeah I've tried that,
However I want to be able to drink it, because I spend most of my time working in front of the PC, I want to have a shake like that ready to be drunk, without having to use a fork/spoon

If you want a power shake, my favorite recipe is a reeses' flavored shake MMM

1 cup milk
1/2 cup oats
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp peanut butter
and a couple of ice cubes

Blend it in a blender at highest speed and it goes down smooth as ever and tastes like a reeses'!
