| | | Can you get rid of cellulite? Ive been searching the forum for quite some time now and i have so many questions that have been answered by just reading others Ive ran out of time to search for the quesiton I was originally looking for! I was just wondering if (You can get rid of cellulite(sp)? If so could you refer me to a site about it, and any tips on excercise or diet that may help me get rid of cellulite on my thighs, and buttox.

| | | Cellulite http://www.cellulite-endermologie-center.com
Or when doing a search type in endermologie. I haven't tried this myself but went to a meeting on it to find out pricing etc... and what it was all about. I was impressed but decided that I would try and burn the fat off first and then if I still had it maybe look into it...I realize skinny people have it also but in my case those few extra pounds aren't helping the matter.
Just my two cents... |

| | | Bear in mind that cellulite is simply fat. "Cellulite" is not a medical term, though in America, it's used to convey a notion of "fat gone wrong." It basically originated as a term to describe the dimpled fat around thighs and buttocks. So, like any fat, you can't "spot reduce." Diet and exercise in general to reduce overall body fat is pretty much the way to go. |

| | | One hard core solution is to take yourself down to 8-12% body fat... no lower for a woman. Stay there for a few weeks and then slowly up your body fat % to about a healthy 15-20%. You will lose fat everywhere, and the last to go will be the cellulite but it will go away. Stay fit as you up your calories again and the cellulite shouldnt show its ugly head. You will lose breast fat as well so be prepared to drop a cup or three but the trade off is, when the fat comes back, so too does the cup size and new fat is more perky than old fat. Nothing like having breasts like a 15 year old I have been told.
Oh, yes, im a guy but i have learned this from a miss canada fitness competitor. She may have worded it a bit differently than this as it is how my memory recalls the info so if i have it wrong, please correct me but dont condemn me. Thanks. Good luck.

| | | Reducing Body Fat Scott - I read your posting from November a couple months ago, but have had difficulty figuring out how to use this forum. My question for you is how do you lose body fat? A woman for 35 years with 30%+ body fat - how do you get down to 12%. I've had a look at the Body for Life program, was really excited and pumped up for it, but man does life get in the way and take away ambition and motiviation. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch. PW |

It is a skin condition caused by tissue fibers running perpendicular to the skin subdurmally. The only way to treat cellulite is to get surgery for it / laser it away. You can have 5% body fat and still have cellulite. |

| | | Or at least that's what recent research seems to believe. They've found there's no difference between the fat under "cottage cheese thighs" and the fat underneath normal, smooth skin. Upon closer inspection, it seemed to be the skin/tissues underneath, rather than the fat itself that was causing the chunky-look. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
