Rowing Machine

Hi all, new here

I've been thinking about getting some exercise equipement for home lately, as I don't have much time to get away. Top of my list is a rowing machine, as I'd like to start on my upper body.

I'm new to all of this in terms of equipement, what to get, which companies to avoid etc, so need a bit of advice.

First of I'm in the UK, so some stuff might not be available over here - I'm hoping that won't be the case for anything I'm after.

I've got a budget of about £300, but I can go a little further if the rower has something special.

Here's the special function I wouldn't mind paying extra for A friend of mine mentioned to me that while he was a guest at a gym in London he was using a rowing machine that was hooked up to a Sony Playstation. The rower acted like a huge controller, you could race and train in this game, and if you had more than one rower, compete against other people.

This sounds like my kinda toy - I could definitely use the extra motivation! Trouble is I haven't had much luck finding any info on it - has anyone used or heard of such a rower?

Thanks for any recommendations in advance, I look forward to all your replies

I don't know but that sounds kind of cool. But also really expensive.
