Total Trainer versus Vigorfit?
I was involved in a major car accident over 10 months ago and need to constantly work on the lower extremities.
I also had a damaged right shoulder. I was looking at the Total Gym but after reading in this forum, I have decided to either go with the Total Trainer or the Vigorfit.
I need some first hand experiences on those who have used the 2 trainers. Cost is an issue, but I am more interested in which is the best.
I am a big guy, 250 pounds and out of shape after the accident. I have gained 30 pounds since the accident and am just now trying to get back into shape.
thanks for all your help in advance

Good luck with your rehab. I have the Total Trainer Chrome DLX III and I think it is great. I have had it since 2003. Aside from the seam in the rail causing a click, it is a sturdy machine.

I haven't had any personal experience with the Total Trainer but from what I have read it is a much better quality machine than Total Gym. When I was searching for my treadmill I read a lot of reviews in regards to Bayou Fitness to get a feel for their service and whatnot (I think they are the manufacturer of Total Trainer) and I read so many good things about the Total Trainer within the reviews. You should try looking up reviews for Bayou Fitness and Total Trainer together...a few reviews mentioned people that had injuries using the equipment.
