Crippled from squats!!

Just recently added squats to my schedule. I've done them twice so far and holy s*** does the sorness last forever. Is it normal for it to last 3 days or so? I was thinking just cause its the biggest muscle and I've just started doing them thats why its taking longer to heal.

It still takes me ~3 days to feel 100% after heavy squats, although the soreness goes away the second day they still feel tired.

Thanx Bro, atleast I know its normal than. I'm at work tryin so hard not to walk around like I got butt raped

Your body WILL get used to it, but the fact that its so sore does mean that its working. You may wanna back off by 1 set for a couple weeks while you adapt.
Your quads are probably strong enough...but the posterior chain and the muscle tie-ins are likely the weak spots and the ones hurting the most.

ok ok ok-- I did want to say to you-- pay attention to form when you go back to them, which is probably coming up in another day or two. New Squtters start leaning forward. Stay strong, add weight slowly.

Thanx. Im definitely gonna wait to do them again, I try'd doing them again yesterday and almost fell back on my ass cuz of soreness. Why I did it? I read somewhere from other forums saying you could do it again with a lighter set and it should help with the soreness and you should do them 2 or 3 times a week because once a week will do nothing. I forgot how he said it should help the soreness, but decided to try and realized I wasn't ready for em again.
