Legs are very sore, feel locked up. I have a very active schedule, am I at risk?

    Hi guys,

I'm on the road to weight loss and in the past 2 weeks I was able to lose 3.5-4lbs! I'm stoked and I'm addicted to my schedule. Problem is I'm beginning to feel pains and I fear that I may not be as effective working out and become counter productive. Recently my legs have been pretty sore, it has become hard to sit down and walk in a fluid motion. My workout schedule looks like this:

    Monday - circuit training
    Tuesday - ice hockey
    Wednesday - circuit training
    Thursday - ice hockey
    Friday - rest
    Saturday - circuit training
    Sunday - rest

I've been at this schedule for about 2 and a half weeks now and my body is just beginning to feel pain/soreness. I feel sluggish after 2 days of rest and need to get back into the gym/ice. What can I do to prevent or mitigate the pain/soreness or do I need to rest for more than a couple days?

    Thanks!

Looks like due to rigorous exercise your legs are swollen. Take as much rest as you can. Try fish oil massage over it or else ice. If still the pain continuous consult a doctor.

Try supplementing with an additional 300-500 mg of magnesium per day in divided doses.
Take 2 Theracurmin every morning and night on an empty stomach.

It could just be that you're exercising so vigourously that your muscles just aren't getting enough chance to recover. Try adding an additional rest day or at least tone one of the circuit training days down to see if that alleviates the problem.

Try to switch your Friday and Thursday. I think you are doing to much exercise between Monday to Thursday. Resting is a essential part of exercising so always take this as important factor.
