Major fatigue and one thing really strange

Hi folks.

I've been doing the BFL program for almost eight weeks now and have lost 10 lbs and look and feel great, but after my workouts I'm completely drained for the rest of the day! The fatigue doesen't set in until a few hours after my workout, but I really hate the worn out feeling for such a long period of time. Also, a few weeks back after a really good lifting workout, I experienced something very strange. I could only see 1/2 to 3/4s of anything I was looking at! Kind of like my left I was perfect, but my right eye was only seeing parts of things! I experienced this only one other time while playing basketball many years ago after getting an elbow to the head during the game. Is it possible I gave myself a concussion from working out so hard? I know that I didn't strike my head on anything. This really scared my wife. I haven't had the problem since.

When I started weight-training with personal trainer, the fatique that would hit me 2 hours after workout would just lay me flat. I asked about it and PT reply was, muscles are broken down during the workout and your body's reaction to be able to repair itself is SLEEP. I adjusted my training sessions from Saturday morning to Friday night. If you're working out to the point of brain fog...maybe you should back down a bit. Have you been to doc to get physical to be sure there is no underlying cause. I love weight training, I'm just getting back into my routine from doc sidelining me for a month due to injury to neck. I did fully workout last night and today am feeling the afterburn. I know I worked hard and it will take a day to recover.

In regards to your eye, I would highly recommend you see a doctor.

Yes, we can all guess as to what it could be, but when it comes to your health guessing is not an option. Or at least it shouldn't be.

Totally agree, and make sure you are drinking plenty of water and getting the calories you need to keep up the workout you are doing.

And yes, get your physical etc. Don't know about your background but what is the point of working out if it kills you?

ScienceDaily: Weightlifting Increases Pressure Within The Eye

Maybe this has something to do with the eye problem you're having. Go see a doctor in any case
