Whiplash

Tuesday I was in a cab, the driver ran a red and slammed on the breaks to avoid (narrowly) missing an accident with a cop car.

Now I has whiplash.

I'm gonna let it heal up (with the help of a chiro, doctor, etc) for a week or so, but any idea what training I can do after that without hurting it any more?

It will be most likely mild whiplash that shouldnt be too bad after a few days. I was in a car accident a few years ago and had severe whiplash the type that puts you in hospital. I found sleeping was the best thing for me.

Yeah, I'm sleeping a lot.

As far as it goes, yes, it's relatively mild. But they said it's going to take a fair amount of physio, and will probably cause some recurring/chronic pain for years.

Ugh.

I dunno though... I want to let my neck rest, but all this sitting still stuff is really, really driving me nuts. I'm not used to it and there's a limit to how long I can rest before I am going to go INSANE.
