Red face A Begginner using HIIT,normal to be SORE??

I just started doing HIIt yesterday, and My legs are very sore. Is this normal? Will I always be sore doing HIIT, or will it get better? The reason I ask is I have read that when doing a HIIt training program, there is less lactic acid build up. I am very confused....because I am sore.

yes it is normal you are putting more strain on your muscles, pushing them harder and stretching them more than you normally would. It will get better over time , make sure you warm up and cool down before and after HiiT and then have a stretch when your done.

Yes it's normal to be sore. When I first started HIIT it was as if I'd never exercised before in my life - LOL. It is quite incredible how deeply your muscles are forced to work when the 'fight or flight' instinct is called on

Just stick with it and you'll not only reap the rewards, but you'll see distinct progress in the amount of effort and work you're able to put in.

For me one of the greatest rewards for putting in the effort (other than the obvious) is to notice that I am progressing and able to handle more...

Welcome to the world of HIIT ;o)
