HIIT Combine with some muscle exercice!

Hello everyone ... ! I was wondering if HIIT, combined with some muscle exercices, could be more useful and bring more efficient results ! I will start my HIIT programme by the end of the next week (after i finish my exams). My programme will be like this :

Day 1 : HIIT in the morning , i read some where " Your HIIT program will likely be most effective if performed first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, but if you can't do it in the a.m., do it at noon, night, whenever! "

Day 2 : Some push ups and some other exercices for muscles .

Day 3 : Same as day 1 ... and then , Schedule will be repeated.

Sunday its day for relax =)

Any opinions or suggestions ? Thx in advance

(Ah and something else : What warmup should i do and whats the cooldown time ) .

Thx again !

Before your HIIT, you should be doing very high weight, low rep exercises. That shows your body that you need that muscle. Then do your HIIT. After your HIIT, wait a few minutes (10 or so, depending on how much you did HIIT) and lift again, but this time go low weights and high reps.

You should not do this anymore that 3 times a week...anymore could be overtraining.

With HIIT, I'm indifferent as to whether or not its on an empty stomach. Its not thr calories you burn during it that count, its the ones after from the boosted metabolism.

I did guerilla cardio 5 times a week for a few weeks about 2 years ago. Got more shredded than I've ever been since. I looked awesome. Every other aspect of my life was miserable though. Poor sleep, poor weight training, fatigue, everything you would expect with severe overtraining. Listen to Aetom's warning...
