184 first thing in the morning PS (post shiitake) In the evening with food in my system, fully hydrated, between 186-188 (I go by the morning number since it's more stable). I dipped down just below 180 one morning and decided to start my bulk

Today's official weigh-in: 187. I'm going to bulk as long as I can stay in my 32 jeans

Well you're doing it the smart way so I bet you can go quite aways. I am still in my 34 pants and I've gone from 185 to near 210, not even tight on me.

You have gained about 3 pounds in about 15 days, with your current calorie consumption/training trend.

You are working on 1 1/2 pounds per week average (or close thereto) with this trend.

How is the weight being put on? How is the fat to muscle ratio like? How is this "thundering?!"

What is this telling you?

Best wishes

I'm not sure I follow, but 1-2 lbs a week is what I was shooting for. I started out at 180 so all told I've put on 7 lbs. I want to put on muscle slowly while gaining minimal fat which I believe I have. I have no reliable scientific way top measure BF% but my camera and waist measurements tell me I've put on no discernible fat. My upper arms have grown 1/4 inch and all my lifts are increasing

I should also mention I went back on what I said in my initial post. I've cut my running back to 3 times/week

Sometimes, I am a little short with my posts

I was just saying that at the current data (calories, nutrient combination), and current activity level (your training), this is currently leading to what you desire. If all the data is accurately put in, then when or if the physical results slow or develop into--what you don't desire--then you have the data to manipulate (or work from) to make adjustments.

Numbers do not lie.

You write your own novel so-to-speak, as you work, and add pages (or add in an addendum) as you move along and continue to get feedback from your body. This associated data is priceless to success. If you don't have it (whether in the head or in paper), one is working in the dark, and will meet the boogie man: stealing your motivation and ripping your goal a part.

I was just planting a seed for the brotha.......

Continue to Rock forward.

6' 1/2" 190 lbs...10 lbs into my clean bulk....first bulk after a looooong cut.

I'm trying to re-capture that "dangerous convict" look that Evo said he missed about me toward the end of my cut

Thanks. I can't believe how much my strength on basically every lift has increased with just a 10 lb gain. Also, my arms have grown nearly 1/2 inch

theGooch: The Dangerous Convict
(By Chillen)

For a long time, I sat in sorrow
I thought there was no tomorrow.

Then it CLICKED.
I removed all internal CONFLICT.

I knew I possessed the super-human powers to achieve.
I chose to believe.

I became remarkably TOUGH and I learned I had the STUFF

I became STRICT and a diet and fitness ADDICT

I enclose myself in a jail without BARS and sucked-up all of my battle SCARS

I am SICK but I am going to be THICK.

I will not FAIL. I have given myself no BAIL

I have no key to let me OUT. I do not DOUBT

I am the "Dangerous CONVICT"

Best regards,

Chillen

But I can only see one tat on your right arm ... why won't she let you get any more?

I'm not fond of most tats (although some look really good -- almost sexy ), but I don't think I have the right to tell somebody what they want to do with their skin/body.

Personally, I think you need to get another tat on your left arm ...

At the end of the day, it's just ink.
