| | | Codi is Back!! Who the hell is Codi? Well, I became a member a while back, I think in 2006 and got busy with life I suppose. Now I am back. I will graduate from college in 9 weeks, which will allow so much more time to get busy with weight training.
Until then, I am making better food choices and trying to at least walk on the treadmill (at my house) when I have "spare" time. Usually I am getting up at 3 or 4am and studying a few hours before work, I work 45 hours per week, and go to class 6 hours per week plus an online course. Anyhoo, the fact is that right now I am needing to do good with just sticking to a healthy diet and walking when I can until I graduate. After that I can incorporate some action!
Stats:
Female
26 yrs old
5'6"
125.4 lbs as of this morning
Body fat - unknown
Sit at a desk all day at work AND in class AND when I study....aarrggg!!
Diet Today:
whole grain cherrios (I used to eat steel oats/rolled oats, whatever its called but after eating it for about a year I got burnt out and switched to this) with blueberries and fat free organic milk, small glass of cranberry juice.
lunch - 12 grain bread (2 slices) with turkey, spinach leaf lettuce, jalepenos, fat free cheese slice, no dressing/spread.
snack - PLAN: apple
dinner - PLAN: baked tilapia with organic black beans
Good to be back guys! I enjoy reading everyone's threads. Everyone have a great weekend!!!

Short-term: Going on week two actually, no sodas, no fast food, no vending machine junk.
Long-term: To be fit for life!
Each week I will add something small to change for my short term goals. Doing good so far. This past year to two years I have really gone all out with eating bad and not caring. Aaaahhhhh...just had a 15 minute shoulder/back/neck massage at work. We have a massage therapist come in every friday and you can sign up for however long, $1 per minute. |

This morning:
whole grain cherrios with fat free organic milk, vitamins, glass of pomegranite juice.
plan for lunch: turkey sandwich with 12 grain bread and spinach leaves and fat free cheese slice.

| | | My work is so boring sometimes, I got this new job at the same place I was working before, so Im making more money YAY! but its like a rollercoaster when it comes to the work I do. One day its super busy, the next its super dead. But it seems there have been more super dead days than I wanted. So, I spend a lot of time online at this site and researching about staying healthy and whatnot.
I bought some organic whole grain bread yesterday at the store, cant wait to try it, it seems to be extremely healthy with great looking ingredients. Im going to try to stop eating deli meat and eat tuna salad on bread or chicken in a can on bread instead.
When I dont work out, I dont eat as much during the day so its hard to eat the 5-6 meals per day even though they are small.
Just blabbing away on my journal because Im having another boring day at work.
Breakfast - whole grain cherrios with blueberries, fat free organic milk, glass of pomegranitte juice, vitamins.
PLAN: Lunch: turkey sandwich with spinach leaves, jalepenos, fat free slice of cheese.
PLAN: snack: apple
PLAN: Dinner: leftover chinese food with no rice (beef and broccoli and carrots)
I have been drinking LOTS of water!!!! |

Man! Another boring day at work. My job isn't bad, just boring, hard to look forward to coming to work every day when I will be doing nothing! What a waste of life, but of course I need the money to pay bills to live life. What a fun little circle.
Today is my last class of strategic management, what a boring class! I will leave this subject up to the people who enjoy this stuff. I will be starting a Japan class next week, not learning to speak it, just learning about the culture. I'll also be starting a Administration of Justice class, learning about the justice system, I enjoy that!
Breakfast: whole grain cherrios with blueberries and fat free organic milk, cup of pomegrannette juice.
plan: lunch: kashi 7 grain crackers with chicken salad
plan: snack: apple, granola bar
plan: dinner: slim fast (going straight from work to class, class ends at 9pm) |

| | | Today I am going to an annual happy hour that my work sets up at an AED's house, I am encouraged by the boss to go. Must mingle with important people. I had fast food after class last night....ugh! i was starving at 9pm! so of course when my sister asks if I am hungry, I am vulnerable to anything! oh well, i will try to ignore it and move on with my healthy meals today.
breakfast: whole grain cherrios with blueberries, fat free milk, cup of pomegranette juice.
snack: kashi granola bar
lunch: chicken salad with kashi crackers, 4 cherry tomatoes
snack: apple
dinner: happy hour with appetizers |

Good luck on your fitness goals. | Man! No fair! That would be awesome to get free massages, so you must go every day huh? or every day they offer it? Lucky you!
My degree is in Business Management. I call it the generic degree because it is useful all around in my opinion. I work in the insurance industry so it will be very useful. Probably, for now, I will keep my current job doing workers' compensation and unemployment comp underwriting....seems to be interesting so far. |

| | | Today....I want to work out on the treadmill this evening after work and after I grocery shop. Need to restock on fruits and breakfast stuff.
I weighed in at 126.2 this morning. Not bad, but 1/2 a pound heavier than last week. Im not surprised though, I did not eat super great. of course with no exercise either!
Breakfast: most of an apple with peanut butter. cup of pomegrannette juice.
plan: snack - kashi granola bar
no plan for lunch yet, will go to whole foods (healthy store) and get something. totally ran out of stuff to eat at home.
plan: dinner: frozen pre-made pasta. I know its not super healthy but so easy to make when busy with school! |

Just once every other week, but still nice.
I hear ya on the degree. Business is great because it can be useful for almost everything. Glad you enjoy your job. It's a nice thing! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
