My nutrition has been pretty good. I've been using FitDay for about 6 weeks, and have lost 9 pounds. Got back into working out too, so that helps. I've been doing fbw 3 dy/wk and spin several dy/wk (some at the gym and some on my Spin bike at home).
August has been tough though. It's birthday month - me, my husband, my son, my mom, my sil, my grandpa. So lot's of birthday dinners and parties.
My son's party is today actually. I'm only gonna have one piece of cake, and well, we'll see how I do with the food.
The kids had a blast jumping in the moonwalk bouncer we rented, and I swear the kids were soooo polite gathering the candy from the pinata. They actually sat there for like 10 minutes picking up one little piece at a time!
I did good. I only ate 1 small piece of cake, and I did alright on the food.
It was a Thomas the Train themed party, so I made a "train" out of burritto ingredients.
Basically, we put colored construction paper on rectangular Gladware (with little black circles for wheels) and put an ingredient in each one to make a train (meat, beans, rice, jalepenos, onions, olives, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, salsa, lettuce) and everyone fixed their own burritto, and we also had tortilla chips and queso (and chicken nuggets for the kids of course).
I hear you on the birthday month thing, march and april is just insane for me, everyone I know it seems has a birthday. It was a try time ha. Good luck on your goals, I have no doubt you will reach it all with your knowledge and drive.
OK, so Sunday was not so great since I ate a piece of leftover cake and a big ol' burritto with chips and cheese dip. oops
Well, today is Monday. Back on track.
Well sort of.
Both my kids are getting colds. My son (3), doesn't too much mind, hardly anything slows him down unless he's really sick. My daughter however, (6mos) is miserable. Her nose is getting stopped up, so she needs to breathe from her mouth, but she's a thumb sucker, so she can't sleep well right now. I was up with her at around 1:00 and again at 5:00, and she is still stirring.
So I won't be at the gym this morning. I think I'm going to try and do some stuff here at the house if I can.
