Let us get down and rock out with shiaaaaaaaat, around the house, and flat get jiggy.........with it........and shiaaaaaaaat.........!!!

You carry the "thunder" in your body......and the stuff around the house, rocks it the heck out!..........YEA!

    Oh......... ........

Do you have a long handled broom around the house? Or practically anything with a long sturdy handle?

Do you have two to three chairs in your house?

If you do, then lets knock the stuffen' out of your bod'......with these:

    1. Inverted Row: Place the handle (broom or what ever), across two chairs, crawl underneath face up. Extend your feet out in front. And pull up!.....

As you progress, you can a third chair for your feet, a milk jug with water (or something comparable), and place it near your belly button, and rock out with a little bit of resistance other than your body weight.

    2. Ask your boyfriend, Father, or whom ever, to go to the Hardware store. Pick up Two heavy duty hooks, with 2 to 4 heavy duty screws. Place each hook on each side of the door frame (preferably in the stud nearby). Get the very strong handle, drape across the hooks..........DANG! A pull up bar.

Now, simply rock out with self-made pull up bar and it will not cost more than about 5 buck-a-roonies! ......What ever, Chillstier

Oh......when you get bad @ss, and stuff (and I know you will, he, he), and you need weight for your pull ups.

Go get your brothers/Fathers/boyfriends, belt, which should be much bigger (or just go purchase one, that is much larger than you). Put it on sitting down, take the water jug (or something more compatible) and put one end of the belt into the handle of the milk jug (with water, sand or water ever), and then buckle it. Stand up put it in the position between your legs, and waddle (LOL) over to the door frame where you have your brand new self made pull up bar, and bust out some "milk jug pull-ups" for the absolute win!

    Seriously..........these work!

Come on! Sista!...........Heck, used tires in my garage (with rims) were my best friend when I didn't have weights. Tire bench press for ripped PECS! Tire Lunges.....so I can waddle like a Duck! YES!.......ROCKEN OUT! Heck the body has no clue what you are using for resistance........

    Best regards,

    Chillen

    Food
    2 cups romaine lettuce
    1/8 cup cheese
    2 tbsp ranch
    ----------------------
    4 cups broccoli-cooked
    1tbsp light margarine
    ----------------------
    12 oz chicken breast
1 cup fried rice (homemade)-dad used crisco spray to line the pan along with 2 tbsp margarine then cooked the vegetables in that pan while the rice boiled in another; then added it all together with some soy sauce; I'm sure thats way better than take out fried rice. also added garlic and ginger. It was yummy..but IMO too much soy sauce.
    rootbeer
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've only had a little over 1000 calories today but I'm full. I'll eat some fruit or something later just to up my calories.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    off to work now :/

Hey Christi, I periodically read your logs but don't post on them often. You seem to be going through what I went through for years. Let me throw some advice your way and see what you think of it. Hopefully it will get you over the hump and on your way to continued success. You obviously know what you are doing because you've lost weight before. So, here it goes. Take it for what its worth.

    1. Make yourself #1, period. Not your dad or boyfriend, YOU! You've got to take care of #1 before you can take care of the others in your life the way you should. I am currently going thru a divorce. I had let myself get caught up in the "bs" of life, didn't make myself #1, worried too much about everyone and everything else and my health/fitness suffered for it. DON'T BE ME! I don't know much about your boyfriend except a few things you mentioned over a year ago and I can't recall those right now. But, if he is holding you back and not letting you pursue your happiness then you've got to let him go, FOR YOU! There are more guys out there and believe it or not some have the same thoughts, feelings, goals etc. as you and will support you 100% in what you want to accomplish.

    2. This was hardest for me, get your head around the fact that the weight isn't going to come off quick and that you are pretty much dedicating an entire year to this whole process, not to mention forever maintaining it. In college, I could drop 10-12 pounds in a couple of weeks. That's all I ever had to lose and I knew I could do it and could commit for that period of time. When I gained 50 pounds I still had the same thought process. I have lost 10-20 pounds on numerous occasions but got tired of what I was doing after the 1st month and went back to my old ways. The weight came back, and usually more. If you can get total control of this thought I bet you can do it.

    3. DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT! I want you to be writing down and calculating everything you eat every day. I use fitday, choose what works best for you but do it (I think you already are) and do it faithfully.

    4. Make time to exercise. Of course there are times when other things come up. But, once again, TAKE TIME FOR YOU!!! I don't care if it's an hour walk (which works great cuz your outta the house and no one can get to you) or weights or what. Make your schedule, let it be known you are sticking to it and don't let anyone get in your way.

Quit being so darn nice. I think if you will start thinking of Miss Christi and her happiness more then you'll be much more successful. You seem to be a very nice person and I wish you the best.

I got my ass on the eliptical trainer today. It's been about two months since I did that.
    3o minutes
    2.8 miles
    302.4 calories.

Diet sucked. Well...it was fine until I had three pieces of pizza and wings.
    Before that I had
    apple
    grapes
sirloin steak w/ mashed potatoes and gravy.

Hopefully it doesn't set me back to far

This pizza's looking good... really good... But! My body would look even better if If I didn't... hmmm...

    Dilemma?

    No.

Temptation is a weak psychological thing, don't let it beat you. After all, your having the pleasure of greasy, fatty, meaty pizza for about 10mins.... the pleasure of having the right body for you, is a pleasure that lasts forever...

Yeah. I went from 198 down to about 189-191. I'm trying to get past it but it's really discouraging me.
