Getting in Boxing Shape

Hey guys, I'm making this journal to get support and to keep me motivated to meet my goals. To start off, I'm 18 yrs old and a college student. I started boxing about 2-3 months ago out of interest in mma and combat sports in general. I want to eventually do some amateur fights. To do this I need to lose a lot of weight, as I am 5'8 about 205 lbs. I have a decent amount of muscle but also fat, so I want to get down to around 165.

Workout Plans:
I've been working out for a while before this, so I'm not completely new.
Boxing is 2x a week for 1.5 hrs. Last 30 min. of class is cardio. On top of this I plan on lifting 2 days a week-Fullbodies and 2 or 3 days of some sort of cardio whether its running, tabatas, heavey bag intervals, just whatever.

I'm just going to start out slow and only plan to lose 2lbs a week, so this might take a while. Any support/comments are welcome and appreciated.
