| | woot today was an awesome day guys. atleast it was as far as dieting goes.
frusion smoothie
multigrain toast with peanut butter
bowl of chicken noodle soup
boiled chicken breast with rice cooked in checken broth [it was delicious]
I also counted my calories on fitday.com and it shows that i consumed 1075 calories.
48% being carbs
18% being fat
33% being protein
I drank water, and crystal lite. good stuff.
I'm slowly trying to get back into cardio. in highschool, i could run the track, but never was any good at it. I'm going to get good at it though.
10 minute leg circuit [got my heart rate up]
3 sets of 12 bicep curls
3 sets sof 12 tricep extensions
250 crunches
all my exercises with weights are done with 10 lb dumbells.
Did I do good? |

| | | I'd suggest adding more fruits and veggies to your diet. Also, measuring out your portions might be helpful too. A full body weight training program might be beneficial too.

| | | Is that enough calories for you? Find the amount needed to maintain the weight you're at... It's possible you're not getting enough calories and your body wants to go into starvation mode (where it basically stores anything you put in your mouth) which might explain your difficulties with losing. It might sound odd but you need to eat (healthy) to lose weight. |

| | | It sounds like you're making a move in the right direction. As mentioned before, try to get some fruits and veggies worked into your diet, and consider taking a good multi-vitamin.
I would also suggest that you should consume a little more than 1100 calories. Your calorie intake should be based on your height, weight, activity level, etc... I'm GUESSING you should be around 1600, but I would definitely find out your daily calorie needs and eat about 15-20% less. (FYI, I was eating 1800-2000 calories when i was cutting) |

| | | Changes.. I need to eat less carbs, and I guess I should consume some more calories. To maintain, I'm supposed to be eating 2k+. I'm barely breaking 1000.
I also need to get into a cardio routine. I miss the eliptical I used to have when I lived with my Mom.
I'm going to beat my asthma. I'm sick of it. I'm not letting it stop me from succeeding in my weight loss goals. It's just not gonna work that way.
TODAY Food
-frusion smoothie
-salad w/ boiled chicken breast and 2 tbsp ranch
-boiled chicken breast w/ 1/2 cup brown rice.
-broccoli
-slice whole grain bread w/ light maragarine
3 cups popcorn w/ fat&carb free butter spray
bag of fruit snacks
total calorie intake:1409
55% carb
21% fat
24% protein
drank crystal lite and water
workout
arm routine (5 exercises. 3 sets of 12 reps each w/ 10 pound dumbells)
250 crunches (kinda sore today)
I really need to get a good cardio routine
I've had the past 2 days off of work. So we'll see how it goes along with the swing of things tomorrow. |

| | | Upping your protein and decreasing your carbs might be helpful. Instead of the smoothie, try oatmeal or steel cut oats, possibly with raisins and or a banana. Cottage cheese is also an option as it's high in protein and low in fats. Natural food>processed food, so try to have whole natural foods (as opposed to the boxed/bagged processed stuff. |
