I think I can

ok, so I'm new to the forum, but I thought that if i started a fitness journal that I might be able to be more motivated. This is mostly for me, but if you have anything to say feel free to make some comments.

This might not be the best week to start something like this, but here goes nothin'

This week is bad.
Hips, ankles and shins all have it out for me. (I don't rightly know what's wrong ... I get a different diagnosis each doctor i see)
So Friday I tried to jog for sets of 1 min ... yeah total failure due to some soreness from a workout earlier in the week. (My co-workers and I take turns planning group workout sessions ... sometimes I go beyond what i really should)
So today I tried walking some.
2 miles in 28 mins ... so pathetic
... what was even worse was my boss didn't trust me to push myself ... instead he told our assistant boss to make me go faster. I don't particularly like those two.
Needless to say I'm pretty upset mostly because i fell short of my goal and also because he thinks I need a baby sitter.
I had been doing really well, but now, I'm just not motivated anymore.

Welcome to the board man, great info for you here...

If you don't mind me asking...who do you work for?

I'm sure some of us could help you if you gave a little more info on your leg problems.

Anyhow seek motivation from yourself don't let outside influences change you...invest time in finding out whats wrong with you, fix it, then get back on the road...

lol I get a different diagnosis from every doctor I see ... I've taken to collecting them ... so far I have Shin Splints, Stress Reaction, Stress Fractures, Achilles Tendonitis, Achilles Bursitis, and Procanteric Bursitis

Basically I'm screwed from the waist down ...

Oh and I work for the military.

So, group workout today was awful
we had to do decline situps ... how are you gonna ask the girl who can't do regular situps to do declines?
I swear I want to hurt my boss sometimes

Today was kind of a bad diet day too:
dinner was crab dip and tostitos scoops (of which i am now a huge fan)
with some gushers (sometimes I just need something to CHEW on)
as skinny cow ice cream sandwich (at least I got the low fat kind)
and 3 girly adult beverages (they're like 4% or 5% alcohol)

so I think it's bed time now
my husband will be here tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that
