| | OK so I took the smart option and had a rest from excercise last night....
I did however go to boxing this morning as I just HAD TO!!...... it was good but not great - i would suspect I was operating at 50-60% capacity this morning... not the best but still working up a sweat but just felt weak....
Hopefully tomorrow will be better. |

| | Thanks Joker - unfortunatley I didnt get out of work until late last night BUT I did manage to wake up extra early to get in a short HIIT session before boxing this morning..... YAY
We have Friday and Monday off for Easter as public holidays so no boxing tomorrow morning and no gym on Monday but I intend to get in a lot of outdoor training done - running and swimming at the beach, hiking with my dad, bodyweight training daily so by Tuesday's post I should be able to report a very successful and active long weekend....
I also recently recieved NROL4W and I LOVE IT!! great $$ spent and worth the wait.... I should finish reading and tagging the book by Tuesday!.... I love it!

Ok so am back from our Easter break and am able to report I got in some jogs on the beach/hills but thats about all.... it was raining for the rest of my time down the coast sooo chilled out for the other two days.... washed and polished my big car, read NROL from cover to cover (I am impressed)..... I am def over the virus I had YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Food wise i only had ONE EASTER EGG!! and ate plenty of lean meat/bean salads/eggs/nuts/green vegies......
Went boxing this morning and we did MMA training which is a killer! I am ready to go to the gym tonight to do some HIIT and weights....
My monthly weigh in will be tomorrow as didnt have proper scales down the coast... so we will see what the scale has to say.... not too fussed/freaked though.... I am down another size in jeans so I am happy!! |

I guess I am lucky as I had my gall bladder removed a few years back: eating more frequently and smaller meals is essential as when normal people eat typically bigger meals bile should flush into the stomach which is produced by the gall bladder - my bile pipe thingy is now connected to my stomach and is constantly only dripping into the stomach which is why I have to eat smaller meals more frequently.
I also have polycystic ovarian syndrome - in the medical world these issues should mean that I should find it extremely difficult to lose the weight but admittedly I am focusing on a "lower" carb plan as I really believe that I am carb sensitive. Also this is recommended by my specialist who monitors my cyst issues......
Anyway this is probably more than you/others reading my entries want to know but thought you may find it interesting.. or even better give someone out there some hope that having these issues does NOT prevent you from reaching your goals.... you just have to sweat for it!
Cheers
Kat
P.S: my entries in this journal are more like essays!.... very narrative compared to the more "state the facts" entries on this forum... oh well I guess it may be theraputic in some ways and avoids boring my mates to death with "boxing was AWESOME today" and "can't wait to get stuck into lifting tomorrow" blah blah blah.........

| | | Progress Baby!!!! Ok so I jumped onto the little grey scales this morning.... its funny how emotions can be conjured up by the lifeless numbers that come up....
Anyway....! Lets re-count my progress to date:
22 Jan 2008: 98 kgs: 216.1 pounds
22 Feb 2008: 88kgs: 194 pounds
26 March 2008: 82.2kgs: 181.2 pounds
WOW! thats 15.8 kgs or 34.9 pounds DOWN DOWN DOWNNNNN!!!
I am 22.2 kilos/ 48.9 pounds off from my goal weight. I have 5 months to do this, I WILL DO THIS. 18 weeks to go - I need to lose 1.2 kgs/2.6 pounds per week... This is acheivable.
On another note I pushed myself extremely hard this morning - we did kickboxing and bodyweight work, jump rope, ab work.... I wanted to throw up after class but feel good as I know I pushed myself to the MAX.... Does this make me scary?!?..... |
