| | | Nae82 - Trying to stay on track Ok, so here goes. I'm starting this thread to try to stay on track and welcome any feedback or suggestions
I def. don't have a problem being motivated to go to the gym or anything, that is actually my favorite time of the day. I make myself take an off day every week though. Most of you have seen my workout routine in other posts, but I will be changing it up today with more compound movements as recommended.
My problem is food. I usually don't eat enough and I know that I need to eat more.
Here is what I have had so far today:
8:15am - Oatmeal with a little whey protien mixed in and a banana, glass of soy milk (cant drink regular milk)
10:00am - mixed fruit and light yogurt
12:00pm - 4oz chicken breast, salad (no dressing)
2:00pm - can of tuna w hummus, about 10 almonds
Plan on cooking some mahi mahi and steamed veggies when I get home around 4:30. will split it up and eat half then and the other half as my last meal (after PWO shake, before bed)
Thanks for reading. |

| | Since you drink soy milk, I'd suggest making this - Soy Milk Smoothie - great for the summer months and quite healthy too. |

Well, I've always been active... playing soccer and such growing up, but college life got the best of me... then I was working 2 jobs and found no time to workout but plenty of time for fast food! I really got back into it almost a year ago.
I really just want to live a healthier lifestyle.. my main concern is staying on a healthy diet.. once I stay grounded with it for a while, i'll be good to go. Eating enough is a problem for me.. more than eating bad foods, so that's why I'm tracking it.
just want to tone up. i don't pay much if any attention to the scale so dont have a goal weight, just tone a little more and keep it that way. |

| | Oh, I'm a girl who knows all about fast food That's the habit I'm currently trying to break. I like to browse others journals to get ideas of what I should be eating...lol.
Healthier lifestyle sounds like a good goal to me. Looks like you are on the right track. =) |

| | Thanks again!
Once you cut out fast food for long enough, you don't want it anymore. The smell of it can make me sick anymore. Except for Taco Cabana. That's my weakness and my weekly cheat meal usually comes from there or Studio Movie Grill.
Not eating as much today.
10:00am - cereal, milk, blueberrys (as mentioned previously)
12:30pm - Tuna sandwich - i can tuna mixed with hummus (i saw that idea on here somehwere but cant remember who posted it, but thank you! i am addicted now) on whole wheat bread with romaine lettuce
2:00pm - 1 cup dannon light and fit yogurt (plain) with granola and a banana.
Did't lay anything out to cook tonight, so I have no idea what I'll have. May have to stop at the store on the way home.
btw - I drink nothing but water and I drink about a gallon a day (give or take) |

| | Those vitamins probably work just fine. I personally take Centrum Chewables for Adults. They taste like Flinestone Vitamins. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
